Dinner with the Kiehls

Even more shocking then me leaving the house...is Mark leaving the house. :-)

Last Saturday evening brought with it a trip to Laura and Rick's house for an awesome dinner. She puts me to shame...homemade pasta sauce...yum.

Deirdre and Dermot had a blast with their cousin Maddie. Dermot certainly enjoyed all the musical things Maddie had to play with. After dinner they were playing beauty shop. Much to Mark's dismay, Dermot took a turn in Maddie's chair. She did a really cute job on both of the D's ....and Auntie Debbie too! They had a blast singing and dancing the night away. When it was time to leave...it was very difficult to get them to go. They insisted they weren't tired and wanted to stay and play............

.....but as you can see...they were most certainly wrong. They were both asleep in about 10 minutes after we left! They are getting way to big to have to carry up to bed. :-)

A day out with the D's

Last Saturday was a busy day for our family. I know hard to believe, but I actually left the house 2 times. :-)

The first was to take Deirdre and Dermot to see Playhouse Disney Live.

Here they are anxiously awaiting the start of the show. It was actually a really cute show. But even cuter was watching them interact with what was going on onstage. Deirdre didn't care we were in the nosebleed section...when they asked her to shout and sing...she did just that. Dermot was a bit more reserved...but he sure enjoyed helping the Little Einstiens blast off in their rocket.

Allie finally gets her Edward :-)

Well, apparently I can't shop with Dermot and expect him to keep a secret. So, Allie ended up with her Easter present early.

Poor Little Bisquick

Well, this isn't a kid post, but you have to feel bad for our poor little bisquick. She had a "hematoma" in her ear, that she had to have surgery on. Now, she has a shaved ear, a shaved back, and a shaved leg....not to mention the collar she has to wear for the next 2 weeks until the stitches come out. At least now Jonas can't get to her food while she's eating.

My new "office"

Well it's really a cube. I'm liking the new job alot. Although it's been slow start and I don't feel like I've contributed a whole lot. The people are all really nice.
