Little Italy

Well I decided to start the summer off right and spend a Sunday afternoon doing something fun with the kids. At least with the 3 of them that wanted to go. :-)

Little Italy was having a street fair with stuff for kids so I figured that would be a fun place to spend an afternoon.

We got down to University Circle, and of course Dermot wasn't going to walk along nicely. So rather then taking just over 5 minutes to walk from where I parked up the hill to Little Italy, we walked across campus giving him time to kind of run himself out a bit, then back over to the street fair. So instead of 5 minutes, it took more like 25. :-)

Sadly, the lines for the fun stuff were way longer then the kids would have been able to stand for, so we walked through listening to a trumpet player and keyboardist and watching some guys juggling bowling pins.

As we were headed back to the car, we found a face painting table with no line, so the kids were ecstatic they got to have their faces painted.

We stopped for lemonade at Quisnos on the way to the car, and Allie rested her feet in the fountain. :-)

All in all they had a good time and it was a nice afternoon!
